Who are we?

Since 1882

Since 1882, we have been working with wood. The first member of our family built wagons for transport. In our historic workshop in Villanova di Camposampiero (Padova), we began crafting our first pieces of furniture, starting as a small artisanal carpentry shop. Today, we create luxury furniture for shops, kitchens, and prestigious brands, both in Italy and abroad. For Falegnameria Nalesso, tradition is a continuity built over time, binding together a family, a business, and a community.

Nalesso Woodworking's Birthday

140 Years

Here is an excerpt from the article published in Il Mattino di Padova on June 13, 2022: “The historic Nalesso carpentry workshop, a family-run business that has been working with wood since 1882, celebrated its 140th anniversary. Attesting to its “birth” date, 1882, is a copy of a similar invoice from that time, issued to the Municipality of Villanova for work performed.

It was Alessio Nalesso who started the business in the historic workshop in Villanova di Camposampiero. He began with the artisanal production of wheels for transport wagons. The transition from wagons to the first pieces of furniture was a natural progression, as over the years, the company invested in specific machinery and equipment. The philosophy behind our various advancements has always been to develop projects into custom-made furnishings tailored to any requirement, seeking innovative materials to combine with the finest finishes.

Today, Nalesso Interior Architecture has specialized in the design and creation of interiors, crafting high-quality furnishings for shops, kitchens, and prestigious brands, both in Italy and abroad. Embracing both the commercial and residential furnishings categories with expertise and experience. Our extensive experience and mastery of artisan techniques have ensured that the company’s strength lies in the quality of its products. On Sunday, the company celebrated the significant milestone achieved by successive generations who have pursued the dream that began many years ago with a small, manual carpentry workshop, which has grown by investing in increasingly advanced tools and machinery.”

Equipment

WORKING MACHINERY

Our production process includes a series of specialized tasks that contribute to the creation of high-quality products.

The first phase is the sectioning, where large panels are cut to the required dimensions for the construction. For this operation, we use the Selco EB95 panel saw, an advanced machine that ensures precision and efficiency in cutting materials, regardless of their type.

We also perform the process of squaring and roughing solid wood, a task carried out with the help of the Griggio C45 circular saw. This allows for an initial processing of the raw material, setting the stage for the subsequent phases of the process.

In our production center, we also implement advanced technologies such as the Masterwood Project 465, a 5-axis CNC machining center with tool and blade changer. This machine allows for squaring, drilling, and automatic processing of panels, significantly increasing the efficiency of the production process.

The edging of panels is handled by the SPRINT 1329 power edge bander, an automatic machine that applies edges with precision and uniformity. This machine can use various types of glue—transparent, white, or black—to better match the panels being edged. Additionally, it is possible to use polyurethane glue, which offers extremely high resistance, even against water infiltration.

Subsequently, the panels undergo calibration, sanding, and distressing using specialized machinery such as the Weber LCE 2-1350 DX automatic calibrating machine, the 3000 belt sander with sliding table, and the SAMCO-SCM 150 vertical sander, depending on the type of piece being processed.

In the panel pressing phase, we use a Steton hot hydraulic press with a 3000 x 1300 mm platen. This phase is essential for veneering and constructing honeycomb panels used for high-quality doors.

Additionally, we are equipped with an in-house spray booth, allowing us to offer clients the most refined and unique finishes.

Finally, we complete the work with the pre-assembly and pre-mounting of the furniture, ensuring that delivery is as fast and precise as possible.

In general, our production is characterized by the combination of craftsmanship skills and advanced technologies to offer products that meet the highest quality standards.
